I’ve had a diverse range of professional work experiences, much of which has been in higher education administration. A through line in my work has always been to help others maximize their potential. My fascination with social skills and etiquette traces back to my childhood. Life experience has shown me that soft skills are not only important – they are vital. They can open doors of opportunity and help us be the best version of ourselves.

I founded Polished and Beyond LLC to make a positive impact through communication, etiquette and leadership. Modern etiquette isn't about antiquated, stuffy rules. It means being empowered to navigate different situations, whether in the classroom or boardroom, with confidence, respect, kindness, and, of course, polish!

I earned a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and am certified as a corporate etiquette trainer by Jacqueline Whitmore, Founder of the Protocol School of Palm Beach. This unique combination of academic knowledge and specialized training allows me to offer a comprehensive and effective approach to etiquette education.

I teach classes both online and in-person in Minnesota.

Besides being an etiquette enthusiast, a few things I love include being a mom, my family, running outdoors, a delicious espresso, and travel.
